Christmas in Toumba: when children’s smiles light up the neighborhood ✨
There are moments when the city falls silent.
And others when it remembers who it is.
This Christmas, in Toumba, we didn’t chase the noise. We chose presence.
We chose togetherness.
Children running through the park, letters to Santa with crumpled pages and big dreams, little hands holding tightly onto their parents’. Those moments that don’t pose — they simply happen.
Because Christmas isn’t the lights.
It’s the eyes that shine.
The Christmas events in Toumba are being held in collaboration with the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce, and SEVET – the Association of Professionals & Craftsmen of Toumba, with a shared goal: to strengthen the neighborhood, the local market, and — above all — our bond as a community.
🎄 Christmas events for the whole family
From December 20 to 31, Toumba’s parks transform into places of meeting, play, and memory.
Choirs and dance groups, musical strolls and DJ street parties, workshops for children, book storytelling, and festive celebrations. A program that doesn’t measure minutes — it measures people.
Every activity is a small experience.
Every day, an opportunity to pause for a moment and be present.
🎭 Children’s Christmas activities that turn into memories
At the heart of this celebration are the children. Not as spectators, but as protagonists.
Letters to Santa, stilt walkers, face painting, Christmas cooking and baking workshops, music, and dancing fill the park with genuine smiles — the ones that aren’t staged and that stay.
Here, play becomes a language.
And joy, common ground.
📚 Tradition, culture, and community
Christmas in Toumba honors what has brought us this far. Choirs, cultural associations, children’s book presentations, and themed days connect the past with the present.
Because when we share stories, no one is ever alone.
✨ Because Christmas in Toumba is never spent alone
This celebration wasn’t created to impress.
It was created to embrace.
To remind us that Christmas is a gathering.
It’s a child’s laugh that can be heard louder than any music.
It’s a neighborhood that opens its arms and says: you are welcome.
Because Christmas isn’t spent alone.
You share it.
