On the night of Saturday, May 24th, Taxiarchis puts on its stars and transforms into a field of inspiration, knowledge, and connection. The Astronomy Night organized by the Youth of Taxiarchis in collaboration with the Laboratory of Theoretical Mechanics and Astrodynamics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is an event with its gaze fixed both on the sky and on the future.
From Cholomontas... to Space
The scientific part of the event includes fascinating talks such as:
“Asteroids: Will the sky really fall on our heads?” with Professor Kleomenis Tsiganis (AUTH)
“Exploring exoplanets with the telescopes of Mount Cholomontas,” by Dr. Anastasia Kokori (PhD, UCL) and Professor Angelos Tsiaras (AUTH)
Through international research programs of the European Space Agency and the ExoClock project, the Cholomontas Astronomical Station is strengthening Eastern Halkidiki's presence on the global map of astronomical research.
A night of connection – science – magic
Following the talks, the evening will continue with:
A tour of the Cholomontas Astronomical Station
Stargazing through telescopes
Music in dialogue with the night sky

When we look up, we remember who we are
And in moments like this, Dreamers is there — not as a spectator, but as a fellow traveler.
We are fully present — with our heart, our flame, and our faith.
Behind every initiative that connects people to knowledge, to nature, and to the universe, we recognize something deeper a reminder that we all belong to something greater.
Dreamers wholeheartedly supports every initiative that opens new horizons, that dares to look upward and inspire.
For us, this Astronomy Night is not just a cultural event. It is a reflection of our very mission:
To remind people that beauty, connection, and hope live — both within us and above us. In the stars.
Halkidiki is sun and sea. But it is also mountains, culture, science, and exploration.
It is the humanity that looks up and co-creates.
It is Dreamers.
